I believe that everyone deserves doula support throughout their reproductive experiences.  One way that I strive to fight white supremacy, ableism, and capitalist systems of oppression is to offer my services on a sliding scale. I offer three price brackets that you can select from based on your financial privilege and personal financial experience. 

• Consider paying more on the scale if you: own the home you live in or rent a higher-end property, have investment accounts or inherited money, regularly travel recreationally, have access to family money or resources, are employed or choose not to work, have privilege due to intergenerational wealth, level of education, race, gender, sexuality, and ability. 
• Consider paying less on the scale if you: rent a lower-end property or have unstable housing, have debt that prohibits you from meeting your basic needs, are eligible for public assistance, are unemployed or underemployed, have no or limited expendable income, are a person who experiences racism, ableism, homophobia and/or other forms of discrimination or violence related to your identities.

The high price bracket represents a "pay-it-forward" price. If you opt for this price bracket, you are supporting the financial accessibility of folks who land lower on the sliding scale. This bracket is for people who are consistently able to meet and exceed their basic needs. 

The middle price bracket represents the true cost of my services. If you opt for this price bracket, you are allowing me to support myself and cover my costs as a care worker. This bracket is for people who are consistently able to meet their basic needs. 

The low price bracket represents a discounted price. If you opt for this price bracket, you are allowing your community to support you in accessing doula care. This bracket is for people who do not consistently meet their basic needs.

I recognize that not everyone will be able to access services on this sliding scale. If you are unable to afford the low end of the sliding scale, I can work with you through one of the grant-funded community organizations that I contract with.  If this is you, please get in touch! I can submit a referral for you once we have had our initial consultation. I am currently working with Tewa Women United's Yiya Vi Kagingdi Doula Project and the New Mexico Doula Association.
